News: Strides Pharma receives warning for uncontrolled shredding from the FDA
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the U.S has warned the Strides Pharma for continuously shredding the documents and violating the Good and Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in Puducherry, India. The FDA has also raised concerns for carrying of Out-Of-Specifications test results investigations that were inadequate.
The FDA said there was a rampant shredding of multiple bags that involved uncontrolled color-coded cGMP documents from drug production, quality and laboratory operations”. These documents awaited shredding along with the blinder of batch barrel which was hurled outdoors.
