The U.S. Secret Service, earlier this week, issued a public warning stating the increase in the level of email scams happening across the U.S. The USSS also stated that these fraudulent email scams are related to Coronavirus and can have a major impact on corporate America. 

The agency said in the report that these emails can be a potential threat to the systems in which once they are opened, important files can be damaged, malware can be installed to harvest credentials, and install keyloggers or lock down the system with ransomware.
